The Lobby Lounge at Shangri-La Hotel

An enticing array of local heritage hawker dishes, available at breakfast, lunch and dinner and made with fine quality ingredients, is what to expect at The Lobby Lounge. These include Beef Rendang, Bak Chor Mee, Fish Soup, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Katong Laksa, and Chilli Crab with Mantou. Come by for breakfast, too, where local favourites such Soft Boiled Egg with Kaya Toast, Roti Prata and Carrot Cake are on the menu. Each dish has been carefully selected with the help of popular local food writer, Dr. Leslie Tay, who helms the blog ieatishootipost.sg, and also the help of Shangri-La’s culinary team, in collaboration with the experienced hawkers of each dish. Afternoon tea features local savoury pastries and sweet desserts on a 3-tier set, served on pretty Peranakan crockery.
